As an Orchid Select customer, you are assured a unique shopping experience, distinguished by old fashioned family service, convenience, and unparalleled quality. We ship direct from our own greenhouse to your door & personally handle every order.

Our Guarantee
Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us! We guarantee that all plants shipped from our greenhouse are fresh, healthy & disease free. If, for any reason you are dissatisfied with any product upon arrival, please call us immediately & we will replace it or issue a refund.

Shipping fees are nonrefundable.

For personalized service, please call us Monday-Friday 9-5 EST. A member of the Orchid Select Family will be happy to assist you in making your selection or answering any questions regarding plant availability, shipping details or any other orchid related questions you may have. Orders may be placed Monday-Friday. (We are closed on weekends & major holidays) We deliver Tuesday thru Friday in accordance with FedEx service to the specified delivery location. Saturday delivery may be available in some areas for an extra fee. Sorry, we are unable to arrange plant deliveries on Sunday or Monday due to the possibility of packages being held over the weekend during the shipping process. We want your plant to arrive as fresh and beautiful as it was when it left our greenhouse! 

We ask that you provide all the information requested at our shopping cart including:  Desired delivery date, Name, complete address (including apt./suite/floor number) & phone number for both yourself & the recipient. Your contact phone numbers are very important- if there is a problem with your order, or we have a question, we will call you directly. Fed Ex requires the recipients phone number on all deliveries.  Please let us know if your delivery is being shipped to a residential or business address.  Please be sure the addresses you provide us are correct. FedEx charges us $10. for address corrections & we reserve the right pass on this cost to your account. We cannot guarantee deliveries to incorrect addresses. 

 For gift deliveries, we will enclose a gift enclosure card appropriate for every occasion.  Our cards are beautifully handwritten, and we ask that you compose your message with a maximum of 10 words. We are happy to take orders for future delivery dates & will ship to arrive on, or as close to the desired date whenever possible. (Weather permitting)  As a convenience to our customers, FedEx does not require a signature on our packages when delivering to private residences that are not multiunit buildings. This means that as long as the FedEx driver feels it is safe, the delivery may be left at the home. Due to the perishable nature of live plants, we ask that you please verify the recipient will be available to receive their delivery. For individual orders, as a convenience to our customers & at your request, we would be happy to contact the recipient via phone, to announce your gift & arrange a delivery date.

Your order is our top priority! Our orchids are shipped via FedEx Ground, Home Delivery & Express Overnight Services. To ensure the health & safety of your plant, we will select & arrange the very best service, based on seasonal conditions & shipping destination. All plants are shipped direct from our greenhouses in Haledon , New Jersey . 
Standard Select Service~$14.95 per plant delivery  (ground)

Premium Select Service ~Additonal $7.50 per plant delivery (air)

Saturday Service~available for an additional charge-see cart at checkout

Direct Courier Service~$10.00 hand delivery within local delivery area (if your selected town is within our local delivery area, you will be offered this option at checkout)

Orchid-of-the-month club shipping rates will be quoted based on delivery destination.

Nonperishable accessories/gifts/supplies will be shipped via ground delivery unless otherwise specified. Due to varying temperatures across the country & the delicate nature of live flowers & plants, your order may require premium select service.*During extreme temperatures in either our local area or the delivery destination, we may elect to delay shipments until favorable conditions exist. Should you have any questions or would like to discuss shipping options, do not hesitate to call us!

Orchid Select will not be responsible for shipments that are unable to be delivered due to the following: Recipient unavailable to accept shipment on scheduled delivery date or non response/delayed response to shipping notices left by the delivery carrier. Deliveries made to CA require a state agricultural inspection-please allow enough time when placing your order for this process. We are unable to make deliveries to Canada , Mexico , Alaska , Hawaii , Puerto Rico , APO , FPO or PO Box address.

Packing & Instructions
Each Orchid Select plant is carefully packed in our distinctive box. All plants are padded, insulated & staked for safety during shipment. We will include free heat packs when shipping during cooler seasonal conditions. Our plants will arrive, fully dressed with fresh moss & decorative seasonal branching. Simply unpack, display & enjoy! Detailed unpacking instructions, plant identification & care sheets are included with every shipment.
